Company Biography

     Advantage Barricade and Worksite Traffic Control, Inc. was formed in 1998 for the purpose of providing worksite traffic control. Roadmarks, LLC was formed in 2000 to provide pavement markings. In April, 2002 the two consolidated to form Advantage Barricade and RoadMARKS, LLC .


     We are a full service, twenty four hour, seven day a week company capable of providing any service needed in worksite traffic control and/or pavement markings including thermoplastic application as well as paint. To provide the most efficient service possible contractors always speak to an individual not an answering service or an answering machine. Advantage Barricade & Roadmarks LLC is a leader in providing value-added worksite traffic control and pavement markings to our customers by creating a successful partnership with them throughout the duration of the job. Our pledge is to establish lasting relationships with our customers by exceeding their expectations and gaining their trust through exceptional performance by every member of the Advantage team.

     Management consists of two owners:

  • Jim Key - Traffic Control Division. Jim has an Associates degree in drafting from TVI, has 35+ years experience in the industry, served as Secretary Treasurer & Vice President of ATSSA, and has served as a member of the City of Albuquerque Barricade Specification Committee.

  • Randy Bennett- Pavement Markings Division. Randy has worked in Management and the striping industry for 15+ years.
  •      We have full time office, dispatch, and technical support staff to provide quick and efficient dispatching, accounting, and Certified Traffic Control Plans. Invoicing is provided weekly if not daily. Deliveries, re-sets, maintains, pick-up’s, as well as dates, times, caller, foreman (if required), and job/request numbers are recorded on a daily log for supporting documentation. Advantage Barricade & Roadmarks LLC has a policy of responding to all deliveries within forty-five minutes and all pick ups in the roadway within one hour. All equipment is NCHRP 350 approved (crash tested) with all minor repair of equipment done on site by a fulltime Traffic Control Supervisor or Traffic Control Technician.


Traffic Control & Pavement Marking 


Our company is staffed with Certified Traffic Control Supervisors (TCS), Traffic Control Technicians (TCT), Pavement Marking Supervisors (PMS), Pavement Marking Technicians (PMT) with an extensive Safety and Training Program. All work shall consist of providing traffic control management in strict compliance with the contract and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), including supervision of personnel and the installation, inspection, and maintenance of all traffic control devices on the project.
